I have shot a few people this month but I feel like I'm starting to stagnate. I've tried to get out and shoot some landscapes but as usual the British weather is just miserable. The two fairly decent days I managed to get out to Glastonbury - where I added to my skull collection - and Weston Super Mare. I don't really know either location so I had to run around and try and find an interesting place to be when the sun set. Unfortunately on both occasions I forgot to take my remote release. This is most disappointing on the Weston Super Mare shot where I would have tried harder to get a better composition if I could have got a 1 or 2 minute exposure. The reason I wanted such long exposures is to flatten the sea. With that length of time you would not be able to see any ripples. However without a remote release this was impossible as the longest exposure in manual mode is 30 seconds. With that in mind I didn't risk my gear clambering down the rocks to get a better angle.
So here are a couple of shots that could be titled "Could do better" (and will next time).
